Good evening!
On Monday, I ended up at Moksha Yoga NDG for my first hot yoga class.
My yoga class on Wednesday is a beginner class at my University’s gym. I Really wanted to find a yoga studio near that I would love because I want to subscribe to one when my current classes are done. And I really wanted to try hot yoga to see if I like it. Two in one!
I loved the studio. Everyone was very kind, it is calm, beautiful and clean. And there is free tea :-).

I was not sure I would like hot yoga. In fact, I was afraid it would be horrible and I would be so hot I’d have to leave after 10 minutes. I do find it difficult to stay in a sauna ;-).
I finally loved the class. The teacher was very competent and it sure helped. But I also learned hot class is hot but not unbearable hot! If you love yoga and haven’t tried a hot class yet, I highly suggest you do. There is nothing to lose!
I was still a little sore on Wednesday and had a little difficulty maintaining some poses ;-). I also didn’t enjoy class as much as before. The local is so small you are one on top of the other and there is (a lot of) noise coming from outside. I definitely can’t wait to bring my yoga practice to a real studio!
Hope you have a great weekend!
I have to study for the 4 midterms I have next week! Wish me luck :).

hi Charlie
I commend you for trying something new, Yoga sounds like such a great way to get your body in shape, I wish I had found in in my younger days. I do enjoy tai chi but its been too long since I have done that
good luck with your exams!

I love hot yoga! Haven't done it recently but I really need to get back into it. I've also taken up Pilates Flow–pilates with faster transitions and more reps. I love it! Good luck with the hot yoga!
