Chocolate Dipped

Last night, I finally made my last gift.

I have an exam this afternoon and I am going at my father’s just after. Coming back on the 26th and going at my grandparent’s on the 27th until January 2nd. I definitely won’t be able to blog at my father’s and don’t know if my grandparent’s will have the internet installed in their new house.

Back to the gift.
The last one. Yummy one.

Fleur de Sel Chocolate Dipped Potato Chips

aka a fancy name to make a gift look fancy, when it’s really not.

Print recipe

You will need:

  • Chocolate (I suggest semisweet or dark)
  • Regular potato chips (I used original pringles)
    • Only the perfect unbroken ones!
  • Turbinado sugar
  • Fleur de sel

Melt the chocolate on a double-broiler – I use a small metal bowl on top of a small saucepan ;-). I used 6 semisweet chocolate squares and melted in two batches – dipping the chips takes time and it is easier with very liquid chocolate.
Dip the chips in the chocolate – be careful not to break them. Place on parchment paper and sprinkle with a little turbinado sugar and fleur de sel.
Let set (I do overnight).

Inspired by Julie @ PBfingers, I also made White-Chocolate Dipped Oreos to bring at my father’s house.

I used two boxes (12 squares) Baker’s white chocolate for a 550 g box of oreos. There was just enough left for some white-chocolate dipped fingers ;-).

Merry Christmas in advance, hope you’ll all have great holidays!
