Good evening!
I didn’t get to study much in the afternoon since I did my budget first. I ate dinner at the cafe where I was and it was quite delicious.
First, a buttercup puree!
It was spicy and delicious. It was cold and cloudy outside today so hot soup was just perfect!
I had linguine napoletana (linguine with tomato sauce). I like to eat pasta at this place since their portions are actually reasonable.
A soup, pasta dish and water bottle for 6.95$. This is what I call budget-friendly!
I had a headache all afternoon so I came home and made myself herbal tea.
I usually drink tea all day and herbal tea when it is late, since it relaxes me. This one is quite tasty but it is more of a vivifying herbal tea so I just drink it when I need a non-caffeinated boost!
Exercising first thing in the morning
In my first post, I talked about the fact that I was in an exercise rut all summer because I couldn’t find a way to integrate it to my working schedule. But I found myself with the same dilemma since school began!
Last year, I was working out at 6:30 am (opening at my gym) before going to school. But this year, my classes are too early and I don’t have time to work out at the gym before! This is quite a problem with me since exercising in the morning is what works for me. So today I’ve decided that I’ll try exercising at home in the morning. Maybe it won’t work, but not trying is never the solution!
There are so much work outs that you can do at home, no equipment needed! I actually did it a couple times when I wanted to work out but didn’t want to walk 20 minutes in the rain/cold/snow.
Yoga is one easy thing to do with a small space problem! And I’ve found BodyRock.tv workouts quite useful to do at home, and they make you sweat!
I actually can’t wait to work out when I do it in the morning! When working out in the evening, I never felt like doing so and then I discovered that working out in the morning was exciting! What I found really awesome was that it gives you energy and feel-good endorphins for the whole-day… while exercising at the end of the day gives you endorphins for when you sleep. Working out in the morning just makes me feel better!
See you tomorrow,
