Pear Oatmeal in PB Jar

Good afternoon!

This morning’s breakfast featured something I saw so many bloggers do – I just had to try it.
Oatmeal – In a peanut butter jar.

Oatmeal:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 pear
  • 1 dash sugar

I mostly saw overnight oats in a jar but it is now cold outside (and inside) and cold breakfasts are not high on my list ;).

I had about 1 tbsp in the bottom of my jar + more on the sides. I really liked it but thought there was too much peanut butter at the end. Next time, I would do this when the jar is completely empty, except for the sides.

And I liked how the hot oatmeal made the peanut butter melt. Yum!

Hope you’re having a great Monday! I have some studying to do and a recipe to share tonight :).

I tried the oats in a jar once…but it was uncooked oats, with a bunch of other stuff in my almond butter jar Couldn't get into it. However, yours all cooked and melty looks delish!
