Good morning!
My love for baked oats was revived yesterday and I had to eat some again today! I can’t eat this breakfast when I have school in the morning so I knew that it was today or I’d have to wait until the weekend!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp chopped walnuts
- 2-3 strawberries, sliced
- 2/3 cup milk (I used almond milk)
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup + more to drizzle
- 1 small banana, sliced lengthwise
- Dash cocoa powder
Directions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine oats, chia seeds, walnuts, strawberries, milk and maple syrup in a small oven-safe dish. Place the banana on top and sprinkle with cocoa powder. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until golden brown. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.

This was a delicious breakfast, and a great start to my day.
Now I have lots of cleaning to to before going to school! I’m the worst procrastinator regarding housework!
